Run time: 97 min.
Never boring, never pretentious, never preachy, Neo Ned could find its place alongside some of the great independent romance films of all time, if enough people are able to catch a glimpse of it.” Film Threat. Like most kids...Ned idolized his father and dreamed of following in his footsteps. Unfortunately his father spent most of his life in jail. Taken from his talk show addict mother, Ned bounced from foster home to foster home finally being adopted by a lovely family that proceeds to commit mass suicide. Narrowly escaping death, Ned forges a bond with a new family of his own, the Aryan Brotherhood. Claiming responsibility for the murder of a black man he did not kill, Ned is placed in a mental hospital where he is mesmerized by a young black girl, Rachael, who pretends that Adolph Hitler was reincarnated in her. Not exactly love at first sight, the two spar relentlessly until the sparks of romance ignite. The unlikely pair then escape in search of the perfect life together, only to find they have very different ideas of what that life would be. As Ned and Rachael work desperately at being normal, it becomes unbearably clear that they live in two different worlds, and it is to those worlds that they must return. But they will not part without one final confrontation that will bond their lives together, forever. Producer David E. Allen of Arkansas will be present for Q and A. David E. Allen is from Siloam Springs, AR and is the founder of The Kismet Entertainment Group, a fully-financed independent motion picture production and distribution company, based in Los Angeles. Including DOG SOLDIERS, Allen has produced eight features films in the past five years, including NO GOOD DEED (Samuel L. Jackson and Milla Jovovich), STANDER (Thomas Jane), ASYLUM (Natasha Richardson and Sir Ian McKellan), NEO NED (Jeremy Renner and Gabrielle Union), and MOJAVE (Eric Christian Olsen and Rider Strong). Through his Graveyard Filmworks banner, Allen has produced the horror films BOO and CEMETERY GATES, and is in pre-production on the sequel to DOG SOLDIERS. Producer David E. Allen of Arkansas will be present for a Q and A.
